Compilations of recent EMN Ad-Hoc Queries may be found here. This EMN activity is used to provide information in a relatively short time on a wide range of asylum- and migration-related issues of relevance to policy development both in an EMN NCPs' Member State and/or by the Commission. An attempt has been made to categorise the numerous queries into broad categories in order to bring together related queries on a similar topic, although one should note that there are often overlaps between these categories in a particular query. An OVERVIEW LIST of the available compilations is also given.

Ad-Hoc Query Summaries	This folder contains summaries of selected EMN Ad-Hoc Queries.


Border	This folder contains queries relating to border control policy and measures


Economic Migration	This folder contains queries relating to the entry of third-country nationals for economic (e.g. work) related reasons.


EU Acquis	This folder contains queries related to (the implementation of) EU legislation (e.g. Directives, Regulations, Decisions)


Family Reunification	This folder contains queries relating to the measures and practices for family reunification.


illegal Immigration	This folder contains queries relating to measures for tackling illegal (or irregular) immigration.


Integration	This folder contains queries relating to the policy and measures taken for the integration of third-country nationals


Protection	This folder contains Ad-Hoc Queries related to providing Protection and covers inter alia asylum applications and the rights associated with such applications.


Residence	This folder contains Ad-hoc Queries related to the granting of residence to a third-country national, principally (but not only) involving the issuance of Residence Permits.


Return	This folder contains queries relating to return policy and measures


Students	This folder contains compilations of Ad-Hoc Queries relating primarily to third-country national students studying in an EU Member State.


Trafficking	This folder contains queries relating to the policy, legislation and measures taken in the fight against the trafficking in human beings.


Visas	This folder contains queries relating to visa policy and its implementation.


zMiscellaneous	This folder contains queries which do not clearly fall within one of the other categories and includes, for example, information related to the functioning of a national network.
